This team, as well as your local operations staff and account management representatives, will take personal accountability ensuring your supply chain needs are managed to clearly defined expectations.
Jason Cunneyworth – Vice President & General Manager, Direct Distribution:
Jason is responsible for all operations and customer service at Direct Distribution. He has over 20 years of third party logistics (3PL) experience for companies such as Kuehne + Nagel and Schenker of Canada. During his career Jason has been responsible for operations, strategic planning, change management, continuous improvement, account management and business development. Jason holds a P.Log designation.
Tom Hall – Senior Director, Business Development:
Based in Calgary, Tom is responsible for Direct Distribution’s business development activities in Western Canada. He has over 35 years of experience in the logistics field, including 15 years with Direct Distribution. Tom’s experience includes 18 years of sales and marketing coupled with 17 years of operational management at companies such as Federal Express and Canpar. Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brock University.
John Ricketts – Senior Director, Business Development:
Based in the Toronto facility, John is responsible for Direct Distribution’s business development activities in Eastern Canada. He brings over 20 years of business experience in sales and marketing to the Direct Distribution team. John has worked with a number of companies building global supply chain solutions. John has held several multi-faceted roles in operations and business development at companies such as DB Schenker. John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Guelph.
Canada Cartage Management
Jeff Lindsay – President & CEO, Canada Cartage:
Jeff has led Canada Cartage, the parent company of Direct Distribution, since 2001. He has spent most of his career at Canada Cartage in several capacities across the sales and operations functions. Jeff obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1991 with Price Waterhouse and Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto.
David Bacon – Senior Vice President Finance & CFO, Canada Cartage:
David is responsible for the financial, IT systems and legal functions at Canada Cartage and Direct Distribution. He has over 20 years of business experience with public and private companies such as SkyPower Corp. and GT Group Telecom in the areas of strategy, corporate finance, governance and financial management. David also spent eight years with the audit and advisory services practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He is a CA and CPA (Illinois) and holds a BA from University of Western Ontario and MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
David Zavitz – Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing, Canada Cartage:
David leads the corporate marketing and national business development team at Canada Cartage. He has over 25 years of experience working with firms ranging from small start-ups to global Fortune 500 companies in the areas of corporate strategy, marketing and sales planning and execution, mergers and acquisitions, and customer satisfaction. His background includes several years as Vice President, Sales and Marketing at Livingston International, one of North America’s largest customs and logistics service companies. He is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario.
