In fact, you will have greater control because Canada Cartage does not want to lose your confidence and will work very hard to overcome any service shortfalls that you may identify.

DEDICATED FLEET

With a dedicated fleet, our customers benefit from gaining access to specialized equipment, experienced drivers, sophisticated information technology systems and Canada Cartage's experienced management team. Furthermore, they forgo the capital requirements of owning and operating their own trucking fleet and can therefore focus on their core competency. For internal stakeholders, the top executives will quickly see the overwhelming benefits. For the driver force, Canada Cartage often assumes the drivers. For operations staff, they typically operate as they did prior to the engagement of Canada Cartage as your dedicated fleet. For external stakeholders, if branding is an issue, we brand the power units in the customer's colours and furnish drivers with uniforms that are consistent with your colours and branding. On the other hand, we also have customers that prefer to brand trailers, but not the power units. There are also cases where the customer does not want the identity of the load to be determined by the branding, thus leaving power and trailers in Canada Cartage livery. In short, you decide what is best and external stakeholders will either not be aware of the change or they will recognize that running a private fleet is rarely the most economical path and as such, will applaud your desire to operate in the most service-oriented and efficient manner possible.
